Loopify Independent Media corrects errors openly and promptly. This page describes how to report an error and how we handle corrections, updates, and retractions.
How to report an error
Please write to support@loopify.pro with:
- The URL of the item (or platform link) you believe contains an error;
- A short description of the error;
- If possible, a link to a credible source supporting the correction.
You do not need to use any particular form or follow a template.
How we respond
- We aim to acknowledge a correction request within five working days.
- We assess the request against credible sources.
- Where a correction is warranted, we issue it promptly. Minor errors (e.g. a misspelled name) are corrected directly. Material errors are corrected and the correction is noted publicly.
- Where a request is declined, we explain why.
Categories of editorial action
Update
The factual situation has changed since publication; the item is updated and a dated update note is added.
Correction
The item contained a factual error at the time of publication; the error is corrected, the original text is preserved in the audit log, and a dated correction note is added to the item.
Retraction
The item is materially flawed and the editor judges that no correction can salvage it. The item is removed from active distribution and a retraction note is published explaining why.
Audit log
Every correction, update, and retraction is recorded in the audit log of the affected item, including the date, the change, and the reason. Audit logs are produced on request to competent authorities.
Right to be forgotten and data subject requests
If you are an identifiable individual mentioned in a published item and you believe the item is unlawful, inaccurate, or no longer relevant, please contact support@loopify.pro. Your request will be handled in line with applicable data protection law and the right to be forgotten as recognised by the GDPR. See also our Privacy Policy.
Distribution platforms
Where an item has been distributed on a third-party platform (YouTube, TikTok, Meta, X, LinkedIn, etc.), corrections to the item itself are reflected at source where possible (for example, by editing the description, replacing the file, or unpublishing). Some platforms do not allow editing of certain fields after publication; in those cases, the corrected version is republished and the prior version is unlisted or removed where the platform allows it.
